FEATURES OF REISHI MUSHROOM:

ACTIVE SUBSTANCES:
Polysaccharides
Reishi mushroom contains biologically active polysaccharides- β-1-3- and β-1-6-D-glucans. In addition to high molecular weight polysaccharides, the mushroom also contains a matrix of water-insoluble polysaccharides, which is responsible for the physical hardness of the mushroom body. They act as immunomodulators and antioxidants. Also act as anticancer agents.
Triterpenes
Triterpens inhibit the growth and metastasis of tumor cells. They have antioxidant properties and reduce oxidative damage by neutralizing free radicals.
Triterpenes initiate the death mechanisms of human tumor cells. They are able to regulate the activity of several key proteins involved in the processes of tumor metastasis. These proteins include, in particular, matrix metalloproteinases and angiogenic factors. As shown in studies, ganoderic acids extracted from Reishi inhibit invasion of 95-D, LLC, and HCT-116 cells by inhibiting the expression of metalloproteinases
